“Perhaps I am the final branch who will speak Zapotec
My children, homeless birds in the jungle of forgetfulness,
will have to whistle their language.”

Artefakto

Artefakto opened its doors on the Riviera Nayarit coastline in 2010. With an unrelenting passion for all things primitive, Artefakto embarked on a quest to search for one of a kind pieces that were once functional to Mexican indigenous communities. Artefakto has succeeded in sourcing rare early 20th century hardwood and ceramic pieces to architects, interior designers and homeowners worldwide.

Many pieces range from hardwood stools, mortars and low tables from Guanajuato and San Luis Potosí to early 20th century pottery from Yucatan, Puebla and Oaxaca. We look forward to sharing our passion with you.
